Business Manager of the Year
Overview
To reflect changes in the pharmaceutical business environment, the PharmaTimes RBM of the Year competition, created in 1995, is being re-launched in 2012 to embrace the new commercial roles and activities that are evolving and to make it customer facing.
The new competition will be known as PharmaTimes Business Manager of the Year, with the tagline ‘working together towards better patient health’. Central to the new ethos of the competition is the inclusion of healthcare professionals and payers on the steering committee and judging panels to gain a better understanding of what customers are looking for in their interactions with the industry.

Why get involved?
1. Your skills and capabilities are judged by the people who matter – your customers
2. The opportunity to benchmark yourself and your company against industry peers
3. Gain insight into the current healthcare environment, its trends and how best to develop the relationship between the industry and the NHS.
This is your first important step towards a unique opportunity for personal development and the chance to test your professional skills through a programme of competency-based exercises devised by a panel of senior industry sales leaders and NHS customers including prescribing advisors, medicines management and commissioners.
So whether you are new First Line Manager, Key Account Manager, Regional Healthcare Director, or part of a Commercial Team, we have a category that can test your skills against the best of the rest (categories).
To help you with your application please take a look at our Participants' Fact Sheet highlighting some of the benefits to you and your organisation of participation. Your success in this competition is promoted to the whole UK industry and the confidence you gain as a result will help you in your future career.
The Executive Steering Committee wish you the very best of luck with your entry.
