Jackie worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 30 years with the majority of this time spent in the clinical research arena, more latterly heading up clinical operations functions. She has worked in all phases of the clinical development of medicinal products in a broad range of therapeutic areas. She has a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding clinical research. With the exception of a three year spell in a venture capital start up company, previous employers have all been large pharmaceutical companies, the latest being sanofi-aventis.

Jackie was appointed in July 2006 to set up a Joint Clinical Trials Office on behalf of a partnership for the conduct of clinical trials between Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital and King’s College London.
