Lynda Waltham

Lynda Waltham is a Vice President, Clinical Operations in ICON Clinical Research.
She has a PhD in Physiology which she gained from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. In a career spanning more than 20 years Lynda has experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in a contract research organisation.
After a spell in the research dept of Reckitt & Colman Pharmaceuticals Lynda moved into the development function where she had a number of roles in project management, clinical operations and product development.
Subsequently she moved to SmithKline Beecham (latterly GSK) where she was responsible for global clinical outsourcing and contract operations. More recently, Lynda moved to ICON Clinical Research to assume her current role in which she has accountability for Clinical Operations in UK, Netherlands and France and for the projects managed from those offices.
