Sarah Cotena

Sarah Cotena has worked the pharmaceutical industry for 23 years, joining the Toxicology R&D department of an American Pharma company after graduating in 1984 before transitioning across to Clinical Research in 1987.

With 20 years of experience as a Clinical Researcher in 4 different Pharma companies Sarah has worked as a CRA and International Project Manager in a wide range of therapeutic areas – cardiovascular, neurology, virology and oncology. 

Sarah joined Roche 10 years ago after a 9 month “30 Something” Career Break to travel the world and has held a variety of clinical project management roles within the organization.   For the last 4 years Sarah has been the Resourcing Manager for the UK Clinical Operations group responsible for recruiting new staff into the department.   Sarah balances this role part-time with bringing up her two young energetic boys.
