The competition was established in 2008 to recognise best practice and promote better Joint Working between the industry and the NHS for the benefit of patients.

A steering committee of senior stakeholders from the NHS, Department of Health and healthcare will review the submissions and shortlist projects that demonstrate best practice in that they are good for the local health economy, good for companies and most importantly, good for patients.
