PharmaTimes Marketeer of the Year 2010- Enter Competition

Welcome to the PharmaTimes Marketeer of the Year 2010 Competition. Please find below details of the 2010 competition categories.

Entries will be welcomed from April, 2010.

The competition has seven categories for entry ranging from Aspiring Marketeer through to Marketing Team!  Take a look at the brief descriptors below and see which category best describes you.  The tasks that are set for each category are specifically designed and so will provide an appropriate and developmental experience

Categories:

Aspiring Marketeer

‘You are at the early stages of your career within the pharmaceutical industry and are interested to pursue a career in marketing.  You may currently be in a sales/market research/business information or role other than marketing and may already be seeking development opportunities in this area (marketing qualifications/secondments etc). You wish to profile your talents within your organisation as a potential marketeer of the future’.

New Marketeer
‘You are working in a marketing role but are relatively inexperienced and appreciate that you still have much to learn!   You would like to benchmark your early experience and development against industry peers at a similarly early stages in their marketing careers’.

Senior Marketeer
‘You are an experienced and rounded senior marketeer, having had various marketing roles for a number of years.  You have seen most aspects of marketing but are curious to understand how your experience and competence compares to other similarly experienced industry peers’.

Aspiring Marketing Director
‘You are a very experienced Senior Marketeer and may already have some line management responsibility or be the first point for delegated responsibilities from your Marketing Manager/Director/BUD etc.  You believe you have the potential to reach the position of Marketing Director and are keen to test yourself against other potential Marketing Directors of the future’.

Aspiring Pan European Brand Manager New!
‘You are an experienced Brand Manager currently working at a local affiliate level within the European Economic Area (and Switzerland), but wish to develop your marketing responsibilities beyond local affiliate level by securing a Pan-European marketing role’.

Pan European Brand Manager   New!
‘You are a Pan-European Brand Manager working within the European Economic Area (or Switzerland) with responsibilities for one or more brands across three or more culturally and geographically different countries.  You may be based in the UK or in Mainland Europe and are keen to benchmark your Pan-European marketing experience with fellow Pan-European Brand Manager from peer group companies’.


Marketing Team
‘You work in an organisation that encourages and recognises the importance of team work and want to test your team against the best of the rest. This category is for teams of up to four and can be drawn from the marketing group and/or marketing plus cross-functional team members (medical, business information, sales or other)’.
