Competition Process and Key Dates

Stage one.  'Customer Nominations'

Entry to the competition is by nominations from candidates or hiring managers. The nomination is completed through an online balance score card that examines areas such as Industry Knowledge, Communications and Professional Rapport.

Stage two. 'Employment Law Online Questionnaire'

Nominees are invited to complete a short exam on Employment Law. The steering group understands that recruitment professionals are not meant to be experts in employment law! However, participants should have some grasp of the legislative landscape. The pass mark for this stage is set at 60%.

Stage three. The Finals – 19th January, 2012

Up to ten of the best Clinical Recruiters will be identified on the following criteria:

- The total number of individual candidate/hiring manager nominations

- The individual scores generated on the balanced score card

- Successful completion of the Employment Law Exam (pass mark 60%)

Please note that to ensure a representative cross section of recruitment providers at finals; places are limited to a maximum of two per company. The finals are judged by senior operational managers drawn from the ranks of the PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year Steering Committee.  A finals fee of £250 is payable for all finalists prior to participation. Feedback and development is provided at all stages.

Stage 5. The Clinical Recruiter of the Year Awards- 16 February 2012

The winner for Clinical Recruiter of the Year is announced at the Clinical Researcher of the Year awards on 16 February 2012 at the River Bank Park Plaza.
