“Aligning NHS & pharma medicines management through medicines at home’’

7th December, 12.30pm to 4.30pm
Park Plaza Riverbank, Albert Embankment, SE1 7TJ

The £1.3 billion Medicines at Home sector presents pharmaceutical companies with at least three major opportunities to improve sales and at the same time align themselves with this key initiative.

The medicines at home sector can:

•    accelerate patient access at product launch
•    enhance patient adherence
•    extend brand sales beyond patent loss

PharmaTimes meeting, Aligning NHS & Pharma Medicines Management – through Medicines at Home, will focus on these areas using case histories as proofs of concept and by demonstrating how medicine at home strategies can help marketeers enhance sales at every point of the product lifecycle.

We are particularly delighted that Mark Hackett, DH Home Medicines Review Lead and Chief Executive of Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust, will introduce the meeting and discuss how the Southampton Trust operates its Medicines at Home strategy to the benefit of patients and the NHS.

The NHS wants to keep patients out of hospital, which means pharma has the perfect opportunity to work alongside the NHS in this sector to the mutual benefit of pharma, the NHS and the patient.
