Our client is a multi national biopharmaceutical company committed to improving the lives of patients worldwide. They are building one of the most diverse pipelines in the biopharmaceutical industry. The drugs our client develops are designed to treat life threatening diseases or chronic debilitating conditions where patients are poorly served by current therapies.
We have a new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager, which involves working with both providers and commissioners of cancer services to enable them to plan and budget for the uptake of existing products and plan for future products at a strategic level. The role will require you to develop a clear understanding of the NHS as it evolves and the different commissioning processes across Local Health Economies is vital to this role. Success in this role will be measured through market penetration and sales.
Our client is seeking people who have a solid track record within the pharmaceutical industry or in a relevant commissioning role within the NHS. You will need to be able to demonstrable experience in commercialising high value pharmaceutical products into a secondary care environment. As an individual you will possess an advanced understanding of the principles of key account management and project management. You will also inspire confidence with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships with customers.
Essential to all this will be a flexible and can do attitude and drive needed to thrive in a small fast growing company.
