What are cookies?

Cookies are small files which are downloaded by your computer when you visit a website. Cookies are used by most websites to store information about your visit including, but not limited to, counting the number of visits to the website, collecting analytical information about adverts, remembering what is in your shopping basket and sharing content on that website with social media platforms.

How are cookies used by PharmaTimes?

PharmaTimes stores cookies on your computer to:

  • Collect information about your visit, such as what pages you look at. These are used to make up an overall picture of the number of visitors to the website. This is only used for analytical purposes and does not identify individuals.

  • Count the number of times you have viewed and/or clicked on the website's adverts. This is only used for analytical purposes and does not identify individuals.

  • Displaying social media buttons, such as the ability to share or 'like' content on the website.

  • Displaying preferences and related content on YouTube videos.

How can I manage cookies?

This is dependant on your browser, but the settings for these will be in your Settings/Options menus - usually under 'privacy' or 'security'.
