London-based market access and policy consultancy, Decideum Health, has undertaken three new appointments and a restructure that sees senior director, Alex Ledger, become the firm's deputy managing director.

Ledger has been a consultant with Decideum for 8 years and joins the company's senior management team focused on establishing Decideum as the partner of choice for biopharmaceutical and medical device companies facing market access challenges in the UK and Europe.

Expanding its team, Mia Ayres (pictured) joins Decideum as an associate consultant having worked in the Scottish Government for 10 years. Most recently, Ayres served as policy advisor to the Scottish First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon MSP and, prior to that, worked as private secretary to both Sturgeon as well as her predecessor, Alex Salmond MP.

Decideum's research team too has been enhanced with the appointments of Kate Young and Katie Agius. Young is a biochemist who comes to Decideum having worked in the tech industry in Berlin. Meanwhile, Agius joins Decideum from Pamela Steele Associates where she worked on global health policy issues.
