Abcam has announced the appointment of Giles Kerr as its non-executive Director, joining the Audit & Risk Committee, effective from 12 December 2018.
Giles recently stepped down as Finance Director of Oxford University, a position he had held since 2005, but remains remains a non-executive Director at Arix, Adaptimmune, Senior, PayPoint and Oxford Sciences Innovation, giving him extensive experience as an executive and non-executive Director in a wide range of public and private organisations.
He commented: “I have known and admired Abcam’s business for many years and am proud to be able to join the team. I look forward to working with the Board as the Company continues to execute on its strategy and build on its position as global leader.”
