Following the completion of the Shire acquisition, Takeda UK & Ireland has announced Jon Neal as general manager of the combined company.
Jon has been Managing Director of Takeda UK and Ireland since May 2018, having been with the company for a decade and bringing a wealth of experience in senior roles within the UK pharmaceutical industry. Jon has been at the forefront of Takeda’s transformation and will continue to see the company through this new phase.
Shane Ryan has been appointed as general manager for Ireland, bringing over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with him, and was recently elected to the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA).
Jon Neal commented on his appointment: “We are proud of our joint heritage in the UK and are excited by what our combined company can do with and for the NHS and patients.
