The Department of Health (DH) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have announced that Kristen McLeod will take up the post of director of the Office for Life Sciences. After three and a half years, Dr Nicole Mather has chosen not to renew her secondment to government. Nicole will continue working with life sciences industry leadership as part of OLS through the autumn, aiming to shape a Sector Deal by the end of 2017. Kristen has over a decade of experience working in health and across Whitehall, most recently as director of strategy at the Department of Health.
