The International Clinical Researcher of the Year competition, organised by PharmaTimes Media, is designed to challenge, recognise and reward the talent and passion of industry and academic researchers.

Carol Parish, clinical research consultant and chair of the competition’s executive steering committee, said:

“I think the Clinical Researcher of the Year has moved from a pure competition to a training opportunity. Training budgets and learning opportunities have changed over the years, and we have modified the competition to reflect this: it allows people to be assessed based on core competencies, versus their peers. Finalists are provided with a Learning and Development Pack with detailed feedback following their participation, which allows them to go back to their managers and add critical development points to their PDP (Personal Development Plan). This is a great environment in which they can benchmark themselves not only within their sector, but also against people with similar responsibilities among pharma, CRO and service providers.”

CRAs, CTAs, aspiring CRAs, project managers, team leaders NHS Research Sites and clinical teams can visit www.pharmatimes.com/INTCR to enter the competition.
