This year marks the 20th anniversary of the PharmaTimes International Clinical Researcher of the Year competition and what a ground breaking year it has been. We have seen an incredible increase in entries and passes of more than 50% from 2018, and a 37% increase in essays submitted.

The ESG have had their work cut out for them, marking and analysing over 300 essays before deciding on those who have the skills to take on the live finals day. The singles day for the individual categories will take place on the 21st March 2019 while the team finals day will take place the following week on the 28th March 2019.

Both of the live finals days promise to be a rigorous challenge for the finalists, but also a day of sharing best practice among the most talented clinical researchers from all over the globe. The candidates will compete head-to-head in their challenge that will assess their planning and strategic abilities, alongside their communications and presenting skills. All of the finalists will be invited to the gala dinner and awards evening where the winners of each category will be announced.

The awards ceremony will bring together all of the talented individuals and teams for a night of recognition and celebration. It will be photographed with live social media updates, so the success of all the finalists can be broadcast through global PR channels.

The ceremony will take place in May 2019 and will be held at a central London location. Event tickets are available for those wanting to show their support for the global clinical research community.
