The PharmaTimes Communications Team of the Year competition is the only pharma industry awards that tests the competencies and potential of communications agency teams, benchmarking talent agency side. This year sees the introduction of a new ‘Charity Challenge’, which in partnership with Beating Bowel Cancer and Bowel Cancer UK, will focus on a real life scenario for the first time.

PharmaTimes business manager and competition lead, Anna Yeardley says: “Each year we set a new, fictional brief for agencies to meet; both disease area and treatments are fictional to ensure that no agency can bring an advantage due to experience in the area, giving an even playing field. The ‘NHS Challenge’ is designed specifically for agencies that have strong experience in dealing with UK specific challenges, while the ‘International Challenge’ is designed specifically for agencies that have strong experience in dealing with international challenges within the pharma space.”

Commenting on the uniqueness of the Charity Challenge, Anna says: “What is interesting about this one, is, the challenge will be a real one, developed in partnership with Beating Bowel Cancer and Bowel Cancer UK. “

The charities’ CEO, Deborah Alsina MBE sys: We look forward to working with PharmaTimes Media to put together a brief that challenges agencies to raise the profile of the charity and awareness of bowel cancer – the UK’s second biggest cancer killer.”

Compete for this prestigeous new award and provide invaluable help to this well deserving cause at the same time.
