Medical information professionals are being invited to test their mettle at this year’s inaugural PharmaTimes Medical & Scientific Excellence Awards, established to showcase and reward excellence in the field.

The competition, which will take place on December 6, is free to enter and gives participants the chance to benchmark themselves against the best-of-the-best in the area, as well as gain invaluable insights and feedback from judges.

The process also offers competitors a unique training and development opportunity, with on-the-day workshops and training sessions from industry experts.

Medical Information Professional of the Year, which is open to individuals with any level of experience who provide technical and medical information to customers or internal departments, and Medical Information Leader of the Year, open to those responsible for leading a medical information service, are just two categories entrants can taken part in.

“This new award will definitely help to raise the profile of Medical Information…Participation in this award will be a great addition to everyone’s CV,” said Jayne Packham, managing director of the Jayne Packham Consultancy and lead judge for the Medical Information categories.
