CROMSOURCE, the international contract research organisation (CRO) formed from the acquisition of Belgium’s MSOURCE by Italian company CROM in April 2011, has expanded its European headquarters by opening a new office building in Verona, Italy.

The purpose-built premises add to CROMSOURCE’s existing office facilities in Verona and double the capacity of the CRO’s European headquarters.

Spread over three floors and offering more than 1,500 sq m of space, the building includes new archive-storage facilities, a state-of-the-art server room, and a 96-seat auditorium with video-conferencing capabilities.

Chief strategy officer Cristiano Daolio said the extra space was needed because “CROMSOURCE continues to grow successfully and sustainably by putting our clients first”.

Leading independent

CROMSOURCE was now the leading independent full-service CRO in Europe, Daolio added.

“By remaining free of the influence of private-equity investment we can continue to provide our clients both with stability and our unique guarantee of on-time and on-budget project delivery,” he commented.
