Clinical researchers in the Americas have submitted their essays for this year’s competition and yesterday, the authors and finalists were revealed at a meeting of the executive steering group.

The PharmaTimes events team is now in the process of contacting each and every finalist to notify them of their success before publishing the full list of finalists here, on the PharmaTimes website.

Only the highest scoring candidates from Stage 2 will be selected to compete in the Finals Day. A unique and challenging learning and development opportunity, the finals allow qualifying individuals and teams to compete in on-the-day challenges, presenting to judging panels who will record scores across a number of parameters and provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback to help candidates improve their performance.

The executive steering group has already indicated that with such a steep rise in entries, this year’s competition looks set to be the most exciting to date. PharmaTimes business manager & competition lead Anna Yeardley agrees: “It’s been an exceptionally strong year in terms of entries and we are already taking bookings for the awards ceremony and gala dinner, which will take place in the evening following the finals on April 29 at the Hyatt Regency, Crystal City.”

Bringing together an audience of over 100 senior clinical decision makers, the awards ceremony is photographed with live social media updates, so the success of all the finalists can be broadcast through global PR channels.
