Open to pharma sales representatives and sales managers, candidates in this prominent industry competition are both nominated and judged by healthcare professionals. The PharmaTimes Sales Awards therefore delivers truly meaningful recognition for pharma sales professionals, from the people who matter most: their customers.
An industry-wide event covering a broad range of therapy areas, the competition is subdivided into two: Sales Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year.
Candidates for the Sales Representative of the Year are nominated by healthcare professionals – their customers – who have seen them in the past 18 months and who feel they have stood out and demonstrated real understanding of local guidance regarding medicines usage. Potential candidates for the Sales Manager of the Year meanwhile, are invited to nominate themselves via PharmaTimes' website. The entry form is open now at www.pharmatimes.com/competitions/sales_awards/enter
Successful candidates are invited to attend the Finals days, which are taking place in central London on 22 June 2017 for singles, and 8 June 2017 for taems. The Finals days are an irreplaceable opportunity for sales representatives, sales managers and sales teams to develop their skills, accelerate their career progression and benchmark their competencies against their peers in the industry.
Previous participants have described the Sales Awards Finals as a dynamic, challenging day that allows them to not only gain recognition as the best in their field, but profit from a wealth of experience, learning and positive feedback for future personal growth.
Uniquely among pharma industry competitions, the PharmaTimes Sales Awards requires no preparation from participants prior to the Finals. Instead, they take part in lively, on-the-day challenges, designed to allow them to showcase their competence and skills against those of their peers. Sales representatives are assessed by a judging panel formed of up to three HCPs within their therapy area. Sales managers and teams are assessed by high level pharma industry leaders.
After the Finals, candidates receive qualitative and quantitative professional developmental feedback on their performance from the judges, both verbally and as a report.
Following participation in the Finals Day, candidates are invited to attend the Sales Awards Gala Dinner, hosted by PharmaTimes Media, where they will have the opportunity to network with pharma professionals from all levels of the industry. All finalists will be honoured on the night, and the winners will be announced on stage and awarded the coveted Pharma.
Attended by hundreds of industry professionals, the gala dinner for the 2017 competition is taking place in central London on the evening of Thursday 29 June.
The PharmaTimes Competitions are a critical facet of PharmaTimes Media, providing a unique opportunity for the industry to showcase its most talented people in marketing, communications, sales and clinical research. No other competitions offer entrants the chance to compete head-to-head in real-life challenges devised by independent industry and healthcare experts, to test their skill sets against their peers in real time, and receive feedback to ensure the whole experience is a valuable learning process.
