US-based contract research organisation (CRO) Theorem Clinical Research (formerly Omnicare Clinical Research) has moved to new headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania to accommodate growth in its workforce servicing an expanded client base.
The new, custom-designed location – just 1.5 miles from the site in King of Prussia occupied by Theorem for the last 10 years – will provide staff with a spacious work environment while giving the company increased flexibility and capability in offering clinical research and development services to its customers, Theorem said.
According to chief executive officer John Potthoff, the extra space will also enhance internal communications, generating better results for clients.
Rebranding
Omnicare Clinical Research rebranded as Theorem Clinical Research in June 2011, underlining its break from its former parent earlier that year.
In April 2011, Omnicare Clinical announced it had been acquired for an undisclosed sum by private equity firm Nautic Partners.
The CRO’s parent company, pharmacy services provider Omnicare, Inc, had committed to divesting its clinical-research services business in the first quarter of 2011, citing unfavourable market conditions and the business’s strategic incompatibility with its asset portfolio.
Last month, Theorem Clinical Research launched a new look and tagline, “Think Theorem”.
