Opens new Bangalore office to bolster its global offering

UK contract research organisation (CRO) Quanticate has opened a new Indian office that will double its footprint in the country.

The Hitchin, Hertfordshire-based company has opened doors in Bangalore, giving it access to the city’s existing pharma services talent pool.

Quanticate said the move would also see it broaden its capabilities for the management, analysis and reporting of data from clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance.

Praveen Dass, VP of clinical data management and head of Indian operations at Quanticate, said: “By expanding our presence in India, we are able to increase our capacity meaning we can cater for more clients on a larger scale.

“We have an ambitious growth strategy to deliver over the next five years, which aims to employ over 60 new members of staff in the coming months. Our new office provides the perfect platform for this growth and marks an important milestone in our journey.”

As the company’s new operational centre of excellence, the facility will also help Quanticate to provide customer service for global clients and support the further development of pharma partnerships.

Quanticate was highly placed in last year’s Pharma Fast 50 rankings and its new office is its second in Bangalore, joining global locations in Poland, South Africa and the US.
