Nicola St. Paul was awarded ‘Senior Marketer of the Year’ 2016 in her previous role at LEO Pharma. Now an international marketing manager at Bio Products Laboratory (BPL), she says winning the competition was ‘one of the biggest highlights’ of her career.

“I decided to apply for the 2016 PharmaTimes Marketer of the Year competition as a colleague at the time had entered the previous year. What drew me to it was the fact that, unlike other awards, you are judged solely on your skills as opposed to a project/piece of work that has more than likely been a cross-functional effort.

“I entered the field of marketing following a number of years in GP and hospital sales roles and was keen to make my mark. I had worked my way from a product manager to a senior role and wanted to pit myself against my peers from other companies and most importantly receive valuable developmental feedback to become a more improved marketer. By entering the 2016 competition I gained all of this and more.”

“Winning the coveted ‘Senior Marketer of the year 2016’ was one of the biggest highlights of my career. If you are reading this and thinking about applying, I would say just do it.”
