The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has announced the start of a new Inclusion and Diversity Programme with the appointment of Asif Sadiq MBE as its chair.

In the role, Asif will head up work across the profession leading to publication of an RPS strategy for pharmacy on Inclusion and Diversity next year.

He has over 15 years’ experience in the field and was formerly the head of Diversity and Inclusiveness for EY Financial Services. He has also previously been head of the Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Unit for the City of London Police, and is currently head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for The Telegraph.

Asif said that he is "honoured" to be part of the journey that the Royal Pharmaceutical Society are embarking on.
