Elsevier, the global information analytics business specialising in science and health, has named Christopher Larkin to the Chief Technology Officer position overseeing Health Markets. Larkin comes to Elsevier from GE, where he was vice president for GE Digital’s Predix Advanced Analytics and Data Products. Prior to that, Larkin was CTO for GE Healthcare, where he led teams working on precision and regenerative medicine solutions in the healthcare and life sciences marketplace through predictive analytics, machine learning, image analytics, and big data for genetic and oncology applications.
