Small Planet Group, the specialist healthcare industry events and communications organisation, has announced the appointment of David Tweedale as Managing Director.

Tweedale has more than 15 years of pharma industry experience including senior roles at Ashfield UK and an 11 year stint at Merz Pharma, where he was responsible for growing the therapeutic portfolio through a successful European sales and marketing strategy.

Taking the helm at the Small Planet Group, his goal is to accelerate business growth, expanding the business to become a frontrunner in the provision of event management, training and communication, as well as strategic meetings management, to the Pharma and biotech industries.
