GCI appoints Kim Walker as deputy managing director, London

GCI Health London has hired Kim Walker as its new deputy managing director in London, along with the addition of five other new hires.

GCI Health London has hired Kim Walker as its new deputy managing director in London, along with the addition of five other new hires.

Prior to the new role, Kim spent six years at Liberation Unlimited having joined the company at its inception in 2009, and most recently held the position of head of Liberation Unlimited where she led the team to win the coveted Communiqué Small Consultancy of the Year, in 2014.

She also has experience in industry having worked at the Johnson & Johnson diabetes medical devices company, Lifescan EMEA.

Commenting on Kim’s appointment Kath said: “As a fast-growing global agency, delivering above and beyond client expectations, it is essential that we have the right leaders to contribute to our continuing success. Anyone who’s worked with Kim knows she’s passionate about what she does and brings a diverse range of skills and expertise, so we are really excited to have her join the GCI Health family!”

The company has also recently appointed five additional new members of staff including director, Rebecca (Bex) Hibble, who previously held positions at Ruder Finn and Reynolds-MacKenzie. Senior account executive Verity Andrews joins from TogoRun and Account Executive, Zunera Sheik moves to GCI Health from Havas Life. Sarah Wood and Alba Ruzafa-Martin also join as account executive and junior account executive, respectively.
