Dr Lam has been Acting Director of Licensing since September 2013 and was formerly Deputy Director of Licensing. A pharmacist by training with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Dr Lam has a wealth of experience relating to medicines regulation, accumulated since joining the MHRA in 1989 as a pharmaceutical assessor.
