Simmons & Simmons has expanded its life sciences team with specialist hires in three countries across Europe.

Annabelle Bruyndonckx (pictured) joined Simmons & Simmons’ Brussels office on 1 February from Baker McKenzie, bringing 15 years’ experience of advising on regulatory and commercial aspects of the pharmaceutical and medical devices life cycle.

Professor Anne-Catherine Perroy, qualified pharmacist and lawyer, joined the life sciences team in Paris on 2 January. Anne-Catherine is also a professor of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs at the University of Lille.

Machteld Hiemstra joined the life sciences team in Amsterdam also on 2 January. Machteld is a product liability and regulatory specialist, representing clients in both civil and administrative proceedings.
