Woolley Pau Gyro has taken on Andy Jones as its new creative director, who joins from Ogilvy Healthworld.

Jones, who was previously deputy creative director at Ogilvy, said he had joined Woolley Pau as it was: “An opportunity too good to miss, the best job for a creative in healthcare advertising.”

This appointment is the latest in a year of big change for the agency, which began with the arrival of its new managing director Ed Shorthose last year.

Shorthose said that Jones was the perfect candidate for creative director the role: “He’s a talented advertising creative who understands the transformative power of ideas. Like us he is passionate about developing the people around him. And he just happens to have a life science PhD.”
