The Clinical Researcher of the Year – The Americas awards has returned for 2024, with the aim of discovering exceptional talent amongst clinical researchers across the Americas. The competition has established itself as a valuable learning and development opportunity over the past 14 years amongst clinical researchers in pharma, CROs as well as investigator sites across the globe.

Our competition in 2023 saw finalists compete face to face with a new assessment criterion and a range of entry points covering a wide scope of roles and experience levels for new candidates. Candidates showcased their expertise to our panel of industry experts for their chance to win an award from their category.

This year, there has been a new category announced: Decentralised Solutions Individual of the Year – This category is designed to challenge Digital and Clinical individuals on their understanding of the importance decentralised solutions play in Clinical Research, from study design and development of relevant and appropriate solutions to execution.

We have also divided the CRA categories into 3 – Novice CRA (less than 18 months), Intermediate CRA (18 months to less than 5 years) and Experienced CRA (more than 5 years experience).

Among the expertly curated categories, there are the team categories – Global Project Team, Global Partnership Team and Start UP. For the individual categories, we also have – Clinical Research Co-ordinator, as well as Clinical Trial and Project Manager.

All finalists receive valuable mentoring and feedback on their performance; invaluable for personal and professional development, it’s also a great way to validate training and highlight experience.
