Communications Team of the Year 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting competition; the International Challenge is now FULL ahead of the 1 September deadline, with limited space avaialable in the NHS challenge – agencies are advised to submit their entry today to avoid missing out.

“We’ve had a phenomenal response to this year’s competition,” says PharmaTimes Business Manager and competition lead Anna Yeardley. “It even looks like we may have to close for entries early, which is entirely unprecedented. The PharmaTimes competitions have always been held in high regard and it’s great to see that as we evolve, we continue to set that all-important benchmark for the industry.”

Companies represented include Hanover, Aurora Healthcare Communications, Grace Communications, Porterhouse Medical, inVentive Health Communications, Edelman, AXON Communications, Hayward Medicals Communications and Publicis Resolute.

Once again, judges will be looking for evidence of pioneering thought processes, unexpected ways of using technology and data, and new attitudes towards marketing and communications.

The finals day will take place in central London on 12 October.

MHP Communications is a former NHS Challenge winner. Speaking at the time, managing director Kate Pogson said: “We are delighted to have won the Communications Team of the Year Award, for the NHS Category and for the judges’ recognition of our unique and integrated approach to the challenge.

“The competition brief reflects many of our clients’ challenges, both in terms of medicines access and share of voice and we relished the opportunity to work as a team to solve the problem in a strategic and creative way. While there were five of us representing MHP on the day, we want our whole team to take ownership of this fantastic award; it is their incredible work day-to-day, which ultimately inspired our winning programme, so they should all feel very proud.”

“Don’t forget, you can also nominate a team within your agency,” says Anna. “If you have one in mind, head over to the website and click on the ‘Nominate’ tab. We will then contact them to confirm they would like to take part.”
