Europe's Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) has launched seven new projects, with a total budget of more than 237 million euros, aimed at accelerating the development of safer and more effective drugs.

Europe’s Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) has launched seven new projects, with a total budget of more than 237 million euros, aimed at accelerating the development of safer and more effective drugs.

This is the fourth wave of projects for IMI, the world’s largest public/private partnership in health, and they have been set up to tackle some of the biggest challenges in drug development, says the Initiative.
