International Clinical Researcher of the Year 2017: Stage 2 Challenges available

Competition organiser PharmaTimes Media is delighted to announce that the Stage 2 challenges are now available online for the top achievers in the MCQ.

Written and designed by high-level industry leaders, these challenges are designed to assess the competencies and talent of clinical researchers, with different challenges for those at different levels of their career.

The PharmaTimes International Clinical Researcher of the Year is a rigorous, real-world competition that attracts entrants from all over the globe. It is a unique opportunity for clinical researchers to invest in themselves, validate their training and experience and gain recognition for their achievements.

Professionals working within the research fraternity have the chance to benchmark their skills against their peers in a learning environment, and have them assessed by an independent judging panel formed of industry leaders. Founded in 1999, the competition process is evaluated each year by an independent steering committee to ensure that it reflects the most up to date issues and guidelines in clinical research.

Free to enter, the International Clinical Researcher of the Year competition has categories for all levels of clinical researchers within the pharmaceutical industry, plus a category for clinical teams. How it works

1 Candidates complete a multiple choice questionnaire based on current ICH GCP E6 guidelines and the revision R2 which is due to be issued in November 2016

2 Those who achieve an 80% pass rate on the MCQ progress to a competency based clinical essay set by the executive steering committee. This will be 1000 words and will be specific to the category entered.

3 The top candidates from stage 2 will be invited to compete in an on-the-day challenge that will assess their competencies and skills of against those of their peers.
