Winner of the 2018 Aspiring Marketer of the Year category, Indivior’s Amrita Bowery, shared her thoughts by saying, “Taking part in such a renowned competition was a great opportunity to demonstrate my strategic and tactical marketing skills”.

“Presenting in front of a panel of professional judges experienced in the marketing sector was not only a challenging but also a rewarding experience I would repeat again”.

The finals day offers entrants the unique opportunity to present their ideas in a friendly learning environment, whilst the expert judging panel evaluate and offer their thoughts on what areas can be improved via a detailed feedback report. A unique and unrivalled form of reflection.

Michelle Bridgman of Consilient Health, a finalist in the Marketer of the Year category said that “the process tested my knowledge, made me focus and helped me to really see my contribution to the business and the cross-functional team around me”.

“I would encourage marketers in all roles to take part in the Marketer of the Year competition”.

There are options available for team entry as well as individual entry in the popular Commercial Cross Functional Team category. This category will bring together a team covering multiple disciplines within the commercial marketing mix. Lewis Bell from Thornton & Ross and member of the winning team last year outlined this category saying “The cross functional team of the year assessment was a challenging process, which required us to pull together as a team and contribute based on our individual strengths”.
