Medpace, a global full-service contract research organisation (CRO) based in Cincinnati, US, has completed the acquisition of Monax s.r.o., a regional CRO with headquarters in the Czech capital Prague.

The US company, which already has regional offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Belgium, Brazil, China, India, and the Czech Republic, said the acquisition strengthened its presence in Central Europe and expanded its capacity to provide full-service clinical research management in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“We have worked closely with Medpace in the past and found that our companies shared a high level of expertise and commitment to quality,” said Monax founder Dr Peter Potuznik, who will continue to lead the Medpace clinical operations in the region.
