ImClone Systems has named board member, David Sidransky, as its new vice chairman.
Dr Sidransky, who has served as one of ImClone’s directors since January 2004, has nearly 20 years of experience in the practice and instruction of medicine with expertise in oncology and molecular pathology.
He currently serves as director of the head and neck cancer research programme at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University and is Professor of oncology, urology, cellular and molecular medicine, pathology, otolaryngology and genetics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
