Parexel International has now opened the doors to its new European Coordination Hub and Distribution Centre in Berlin-Schönefeld, Germany, expanding its capacity to provide clinical trial supply and logistics services to support trial requirements.
The facility, which features more than 65,000 cubic meters of storage space, will be licensed to store Investigational Medicinal Products and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products, and on-site Qualified Person, Quality Control and production personnel will manage regulatory-compliance requirements.
"Through this centre, we can customise sourcing and distribution strategies for customers in ways that are efficient, robust and compliant with local regulations," said Parexel’s Thomas Senderovitz, who heads up the group’s Clinical Research Services arm. "In addition, from this central location, we can provide responsive, timely delivery services to all EU destinations,” he noted.
The group said it is also opening new full-service clinical trial supply depots in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil.
