Pfizer has recalled one lot of its multi-billion-dollar drug Neurontin (gapapentin), after manufacturing deficiencies led to some bottles containing either empty or partially filled capsules. The move was made at the end of February, but the US giant says it now wants to ensure “full patient awareness” as there is concern patients could experience seizures from a missed dose.

The lot of concern is #15224V, Neurontin 100mg, distributed only in the USA during October and November last year.
