Sales Awards: deadline approaching

Delivering meaningful recognition through high quality feedback, the PharmaTimes Sales Awards recognises and rewards excellence in sales representatives, managers and teams. An industry-wide event covering a broad range of therapy areas, the competition is subdivided into two main categories: Sales Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year.

An industry-wide event covering a broad range of therapy areas, the competition is subdivided into two main categories: Sales Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year.

Head of events, Gill Chalk explains: “Candidates for the Sales Representative of the Year competition are nominated by healthcare professionals who have seen them in the past 18 months and who feel they have stood out and demonstrated real understanding of local guidance regarding medicines usage. It’s the only competition to be driven by the customer from start to finish, making it a unique event.”

Candidates for Sales Manager of the Year, are invited to enter the competition directly via the PharmaTimes’ website HERE. Categories include: First Line Manager, Key Account Manager/Healthcare Development Manager and Aspiring Key Account Manager/Healthcare Development Manager.

The Finals

All candidates are invited to attend the finals day, which will take place in central London on 22 June 2017. The Finals day is an irreplaceable opportunity for sales representatives and sales managers to develop their skills, accelerate their career progression and benchmark their competencies against their peers in the industry.

On the final’s day sales representatives are assessed by a judging panel formed of up to three Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within their therapy area.

Sales managers are assessed by high level pharma industry leaders, each with a vast wealth of experience. Throughout the day they compete in challenges designed to test the very best skill sets of pharma sales managers today. Each candidate is given individual feedback from the judges, both verbally and as a report.

The Awards

Following participation in the finals day, candidates are invited to attend the Sales Awards Gala Dinner, hosted by PharmaTimes Media, where they will have the opportunity to network with pharma professionals from all levels of the industry. All finalists will be honoured on the night, and the winners will be announced on stage and awarded the coveted Pharma.
