This highly prestigious competition for clinical researchers in the Americas is now closed for entry.

PharmaTimes Media has reported a surge in entrants to this year’s Clinical Researcher of the Year competition, with over 45% more applicants passing the MCQ than in 2017.

There are more entrants through to Stage 2 than at any time in the last 5 years which means the clinical research fraternity in the Americas is looking forward to its most exciting competition to date.

PharmaTimes business manager & competition lead Anna Yeardley comments: “The competition is designed to develop talent, reward success and inspire future medical breakthroughs, so it’s great to see more and more people coming through.”

The Finals

Taking place on April 29 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Washington DC, the finals will allow qualifying clinical researchers to complete on-the-day challenges, presenting to judging panels who will record scores across a number of parameters providing both quantitative and qualitative feedback to help candidates improve their performance.

A unique learning and development opportunity, previous finalists rate the experience highly. Jullia Lee, from PPD was a first time participant in the New Clinical Researcher of the Year category in 2017. She says: “The experience was amazing! The final stage was a great opportunity to show myself how much I’ve progressed as a new CRA. I also enjoyed meeting other CRAs who share my professional interests and who are further advanced in their careers. It was wonderful to network and make new friends. I left the competition feeling motivated to contribute more to this industry and feeling more confident to the move the next level in my career.”
