Designed to recognise and reward the talent and passion of industry and academic researchers, The PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year – The Americas is open to give contestants the ultimate challenge. A valuable learning and development opportunity for clinical researchers in pharma, clinical research organisations (CROs) and investigator sites who currently work in North, South and Central America.

PharmaTimes are pleased to announce we will be partnering with MAGI – this new partnership promises to make the Clinical Researcher of the Year awards 2019 the most prestigious and largest-scale event so far. For more information about MAGI, click here.

The competition features a number of unique categories to ensure there is an applicable entry point for all individual contestants and teams. These include the Clinical Research Co-Ordinator, New and Experienced CRA, Company and Strategic Teams, and new for 2019, the Technology Category. For the full list of categories, click here.

All of the finalists will receive invaluable feedback from our panel of expert judges – Amanda Harp, a finalist from last years competition and a Clinical Research Associate for Cannon developments said “The feedback that I have gained from previous Clinical Researcher of the Year competitions is invaluable. To be able to go up against the best and the brightest in the industry to test your knowledge is truly a worthwhile experience. I look forward to connecting with colleagues across the industry this year as well as putting my own skills to the test. Thank you for hosting such an amazing competition.”

For individual entries, stage 1 of the competition is a multiple-choice questionnaire, however, any team entries can skip this step and should complete an online team entry form. Plus, new for 2019, the technology category has a different entry scheme where teams enter the details of their new product in our technology entry form. The new technology category award is intended to provide recognition for an individual(s) or organization that has designed and developed an outstanding technology product.

The dates for the finals day, as well as the event are yet to be confirmed – however the closing date for entries to the competition is the 31st January 2019 [*EDIT: Entry deadline has been extended to 25th February 2019].
