The winners of the PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year – The Americas have been announced, find out who took home gold in the 2019 competition.

The high profile gala dinner & awards ceremony took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston on 4th May and what an exceptional night of celebration it was! The evening saw all 58 individual finalists and 15 teams recognised for their efforts to make it to the finals, before those who shone the brightest on finals day were awarded a coveted pharma trophy.

There were a broad range of industry leading companies all present to support their finalists – including names such as PRA Health Sciences, Covance, Syneos Health, PPD, PMG, PAREXEL and many more. It was a particularly successful night for PRA Health Sciences as they won the sought after ‘Company of the Year’ award for having a high number of finalists flourish in this year’s competition.

To earn their place in history, finalists had to firstly compete head-to-head in the live finals day which took place during the day before the awards ceremony. The challenges tested their creative, tactical, and presentation skills as they battled it out to be the best of the best clinical researchers from the Americas.

PharmaTimes business manager and competition lead Anna Yeardley said: “We had an exceptional level of talent at this year’s event, a true testament to this prestigious competition. The awards ceremony was a truly joyous occasion and it was great to see all of these talented individuals get the reward for their efforts that they thoroughly deserve. I can’t wait to see what the 10th anniversary competition will have in store next year!”

PharmaTimes would like to thank the sponsors for their support, commitment, and generosity as well as all the judges and steering group committees for their help and dedication to the competition – and not to forget the finalists and winners for their continued efforts and tenacity.

The preparations for the 10th anniversary competition will begin soon, so if you or your company would like to get involved please contact Anna Yeardley for more information.
