Ongoing training and development is key to a happy, motivated sales force and now, the PharmaTimes Sales Awards has a category dedicated to the people who make it happen.

Ongoing training and development is key to a happy, motivated sales force and now, the PharmaTimes Sales Awards has a category dedicated to the people who make it happen.

Organiser PharmaTimes Media is looking for people who have experience in the classroom training and field coaching, of field based sales personnel.

To compete in the ‘Field Based Sales Trainer/Coach of the Yea’r category, you must:

– Be responsible for training needs analysis and implementation plans.

– Have a good knowledge of the principles of coaching, for example the GROW model.

– Be able to demonstrate good cross functional collaboration skills with sales managers and other sales, commercial, market access and medical colleagues/departments as relevant to achieve individual and team performance optimisation.

“Those in a sales training/coaching role will have also come across some of the best sales people in the industry, so in addition to entering, I’d also ask that they nominate some of the outstanding people they have met in each of the other categories too.”
